Hmong-Language Books
Third Week Books does not have plans for a Hmong Baby Reader. Nevertheless, we're aware that other areas of the country are serving Hmong-language speakers among their families.
The Minnesota Humanities Commission spearheaded an initiative in the early 2000s to publish 17 American classics in White and Green Hmong. These are some of those titles, all in New condition. One copy of each is available.
Depending on the book art, the classic English texts are accompanied on the pages with Green and White Hmong both. Some books (as noted) have the Green or White Hmong alongside the English text on the pages. Then, the other language (White or Green Hmong) is provided on back pages or typed on an insert. Each title's situation is as noted in description.
